Return Policy & Right of Withdrawal
Coltelleria Collini guarantees full satisfaction for your purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the products received, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within the established terms.
1. General Return Terms
If you are not satisfied with the products received, you may request a replacement or a refund within 14 days from delivery.
Initial shipping costs are non-refundable in case of return for reconsideration.
For orders that benefited from Free Shipping, a flat fee of € 6.00 will be deducted from the refund to cover part of the initial shipping costs incurred by us.
International Returns (Non-EU): All return shipping costs and responsibility are entirely borne by the customer. Additionally, any Customs Duties/Taxes for re-importation into Italy will be deducted from the final refund amount.
2. Return Procedure (How to)
To start a return procedure, please strictly follow these steps:
- Request: Send an email to info@coltelleriacollini.it specifying the Order Number and the Product Codes you wish to return.
- Authorization: Wait for our Return Authorization email (RMA). Do not ship anything before receiving it.
- Shipping: Once authorized, ship the products promptly. Items must be handed over to the courier within 14 days from the original delivery date.
Note: The return shipment is under the complete responsibility of the customer until delivered to our warehouse. We recommend using a trackable service (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
3. Mandatory Conditions for Acceptance
For the return to be accepted and refunded, the following conditions must be met:
- ✅ The warranty seal and authenticity label on the products must be intact and not removed.
- ✅ Products must be returned in the same condition they were sent, in their original undamaged packaging.
- ✅ The receipt or proof of purchase must be included.
- ✅ The merchandise must not have been used, washed, worn, sharpened, or altered in any way.
4. Defective or Incorrect Products
Coltelleria Collini is committed to replacing free of charge any product that proves to be defective at origin or not compliant with the order.
Any defects or shipping errors must be reported in writing within 8 days of receipt of the goods. The contested products must be returned to allow us to verify and proceed with the replacement.
5. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
According to Art. 59 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is EXCLUDED for:
- ❌ Customized products or made-to-measure items (e.g., knives with laser engraving service requested by the customer).
- ❌ Sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons and have been opened after delivery.
Furthermore, in compliance with Italian regulations, the right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively for private consumers. It does not apply to purchases made with a VAT number (B2B) by professionals and companies.
6. Refund Management
After receiving the package and verifying the integrity of the products (including seals and packaging), Coltelleria Collini will issue the refund or replacement within 14 days of receiving the return at our premises.
The refund will be made via Credit Card reversal or Bank Transfer (in EURO currency), depending on the original payment method.
Summary of costs borne by the customer:
- Return shipping costs.
- Any customs duties/taxes (for Non-EU returns).
